In line with the Relevant Health and Education Policies as embedded in the SMART Agenda of the Delta state government, the Primary Health Care Development Agency, says it would commence “Delta State Comprehensive School Health Programme”(DSCSHP).
The Chairman, Delta State Primary Health Care Development Agency, Dr Isioma Okobah, who disclosed this to newsmen, said the new DSCSHP was an integrated set of planned school-affiliated strategies and services designed to promote the optimal physical, emotional, social and educational development of students in Delta State.
Dr. Okobah reaffirmed that the programme would cut across the three senatorial districts in the state stressing that no child or tribe would be left behind.
The chairman commended the Delta State governor, Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa, observing that the governor was passionate about the Heath For All Deltans Policy while urging parents to take advantage of the programme in order to ensure quality health care and education for their children.
