The 05 Initiative in partnership with the Restore Sight Africa Initiative and the Delta State Primary Health Care Development Agency, will organise a free medical outreach programme tagged "05 initiative Grassroots Medical Outreach". The programme will go round the 25 local government areas of the state.
The Free medical outreach will be flagged off by Her Excellency, Dame Edith Okowa, wife of the Delta state governor and founder of the "05 Initiative", At the Primary Health Care Center Umunede, Ika North East L.G.A, from monday 16th to Wednesday 18th April, while the next is Ika South from Monday 23rd to Wednesday 25th April at the Primary Health Care Center, Agbor. Time is 8am daily.
The free medical outreach will feature: Free cataract surgery, Free Eye Exams, Free Reading and Corrective Glasses, Free Blood Pressure Checks, Free Malaria Checks, Free Immunization, Free Family Planning Services, Nutrition Education and Classes with Free Medical Consultations and Treatment of Medical Conditions.
