Okowa's EA Tasks Delta NUJ On Publicity OF Health Programmes

The Executive Assistant on E-Health to governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta state and chairman Primary Health Care Development Agency, Dr. (Mrs) Isioma Okobah, has sued for collaboration with the Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ, in Delta State.
 Dr. Okobah who made the call in her office at Asaba, while playing host to the union's state executive council led by Comrade Michael Ikeogwu, noted that the role of the Press was very critical and pivotal in information dissemination and stressed the need for synergy in order to achieve the health agenda of the Okowa administration by giving maximum publicity to the various health programmes taking place in the state.
 She remarked that the basics of the Primary Health Care Development Agency were prevention and treatment of diseases, maternal care, family planning, among others.
 Dr. Okobah commended  governor Ifeanyi Okowa for making health programmes priority in the state and working very hard to ensure that diseases are eradicated completly in the nooks and crannies of the state.
In her words" actually his excellency has been doing marvellously well. God is using him and all of us to touch the lives of majority of Deltans both in the rural and urban areas. We are really passionate about this and thats where the strenght comes in". She further commended her team for their diligence and sportsmanship saying that nothing could have been achieved without their usual cooperation.
 Earlier, the Chairman of the NUJ comrade Ikeogwu and the chairman of the National Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) Delta state, comr. Patricia Gbemudu, commended Dr. Okobah for her humility and passion towards her job, also for leaving the United States to Nigeria in order to answer the call to serve humanity.

The NUJ chairman also stated that the courtesy call, was part of the cardinal agenda of the union to familiarize with individuals and cooperate organizations within their area of operation geared towards enacting a cordial relationship. He noted that the union had been cooperating with the state government towards actualising its SMART agenda and further gave assurance that the union would continue to give adequate publicity to the programmes of the Primary Health Care Development Agency.
