The Delta state government has approved the conversion of the status of the current residents of the Junior Staff Quarters in Asaba from tenancy to owner-occupants.
The commissioner for information Mr. Patrick Ukah, made this known to newsmen as part of decisions taken during the State Executive Council meeting held at the EXCO chambers of the Government house, Asaba.
Also approved, was the middle management staff quarters. Mr. Uka disclosed that under the new arrangement, occupants of the quarters will pay N800, 000.00 for the one-bedroom apartments and N1, 600,000.00 for the two-bedroom apartments respectively.
