Agas who remarked that primary Health Care was a veritable tool for actualizing good health care delivery service in the state, also stated that the state governor, Sen. Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, was committed to effective health care for Deltans whether old or young.
The SSG  further tasked the officials of the agency to ensure proactiveness in dealing with health care related issues so as to compliment the governor's SMART agenda in the health sector.

Earlier, the Chairman of the Agency, Dr. Isioma Okobah in her address, stated that the visit was necessitated by the huge support the agency had received from the government towards actualising its health programmes and showered encomiums on the Okowa led administration even as she used the opportunity to appeal to the state government to speed up processes towards the provision of a befitting office accommodation for the Agency’s foreign partners, in order to ensure proximity and better synergy in meeting the healthcare needs of the people.

The chairman of the agency also  observed that the agency was short of vehicles and appealed to the state Government for more utility vehicles in order for supervision and monitoring of the Agency’s programmes and activities across the state to be less cumbersome.
