REVEALED: WHY OKOWA SACKED DELTA COMMISSIONERS

Facts have emerged on why Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State sacked his former Commissioners for Culture and Tourism, Chief Dan Okenyi  and his Health counterpart, Dr. Nicholas Azinge“with immediate effect”.

A reliable source close to the Government House told FLAGNEWS: “The sack is not unconnected with the former commissioners' alleged involvement in sharp practices and incompetence ".
September last year, this medium reported that the Headquaters of the ministry of Agriculture Asaba, was sealed by the landlord, because of the state's inability to pay the rent for over two years amounting to about TEN MILLION naira, when chief Dan Okenyi was the commissioner for Lands until his redeployment to Arts and Culture Ministry and Ossai inherited the debt and paid one month rent in arreas.

A reliable source who pleaded anonymity, also said " I thank Okowa for sacking Dan Okenyi because the man is wicked. When he was commissioner for lands, he will ask you to pay money if you dont want government to take your land and when you pay him, he diverts the money into his personal account. My sister's house was destroyed because she refused to pay him"

Similarly, our Impeccable source disclosed that "the former commissioner for health, Dr. Nicholas Azinge, is wicked and stingy. He wanted to give Okowa bad name. Bros can you imagine, He was given the sum of FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND naira by the wife of the state governor, for a patient suffering from eye cancer  but the commissioner squandered half of the money and sent the patient to UITH with only TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY THOUSAND naira but the money wasn't enough to carry out the suggery and the patient is currently blind. My brother, as if that was not enough, do you know that  Azinge was illegally collecting ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND naira as payment for admission into the state's schools of nursing in Agbor, Eku and Warri and this money and others he collected was diverted to his personal account" the source added.
All attempts to reach the duo for their response and balancing of reportage, proved abortive as in their usual way of snubbing gentlemen of the Press.
