ABAVO KINGSHIP CRISIS: OKOH FAMILY DECLARES SON MISSING


The Okoh family of Igbogile quarters in Abavo, Ika South Local Government Area has declared one of their sons, Sunday Okoh missing.

Speaking to newsmen, the head of Okoh’s family, Pa. Ignatius Okoh lamented the disappearance of Sunday. He disclosed that the Obi of Abavo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Uche Irenuma should be held responsible for the sudden disappearance of their son. He also stated that before the disappearance of Sunday, he had been complaining that Obi Irenuma has threatened to kill him for refusing to join hands with him to fight Abavo community members who are against his been the rightful monarch. He further stated that Sunday was last seen in December 2013 and that his whereabouts has remained a mystery.
“Okoh family members are in a confused state, as they do not know whether Sunday is still alive or dead. His disappearance has caused us so much pain and the Police in Abavo Police Division to whom the matter was reported are not showing serious concern. We are calling on Obi Irenuma to produce Sunday, as enough is a enough of his evil deeds”.
Mr. Okoh revealed that the lingering Abavo kingship crisis has claimed the lives of many people, while calling on the Delta State government to proffer a lasting solution to the crisis, as the issue is spinning out of control.
